Yesterday was my birthday, and I got some great birthday news. WPPI has announced its results for the First Half of the 2011 International Photography Contest, and I’ve managed to place in two categories and receive an Accolade of Excellence in another.
My image, “Undone” was awarded Third Place Overall in the Portrait/Glamour division of the competition, and my image, “Twilight Snow” was awarded Second Place Overall in the Portrait/Children division of the competition. This marks the eighth time I’ve received a major award in international competition since 2008 when I made my first competition entry.
