About a month ago, I was contacted by my good friend from Boston, Victoria Ruff. She knows my affinity for Boston, and she knew I had images from my trips to Boston, so she told me about a WGBH Boston photography contest.  A few days later, I entered.

Yesterday, I learned that I was one of three winners selected from all of the entries in the WGBH Boston photography contest. My image is being displayed on their web site right now: http://www.wgbh.org/lifeliving/0410_photo_contest_winners.cfm and it will appear on the giant digital mural that wraps the outside of their studio in Boston on Saturday, May 29.

And here’s a closeup of the winning image. It’s an image I took of the “Angel of the Waters” statue in Boston Common. I titled it simply, “Angel”
